Venerable Bhante Sujatha drew a crowd of more than 35 people to open their hearts and minds to the practice of loving kindness. Sitting on hay stacks in the cozy atmosphere of Hof Narr farm sanctuary's barn, both new and veteran meditators listened to Bhante's amusing stories about his childhood and life as a Buddhist monk. Love and laughter were in the air. While Bhante led the group through a guided meditation, the sounds of pigs and horses in the background were a reminder that the hearts of animals beat to the same drum as our own. Loving Kindness.
From Sarah Heiligtag at Hof Narr (www.hof-narr.ch):
"'When I see those pigs eyes, like little kids...I cannot imagine how anyone could kill them...' What a beautiful afternoon with Venerable Bhante Sujatha! His words of wisdom, his loving kindness, his Inspiration to start within yourself will carry on. Be the change that you want to see.
All donations go to incubators of a Sri Lankean Hospital, what a meaningful project! His blessings of the animals and their reactions were very moving. Thank you so much Bhante❤️, thank you so much @Michelle for bringing him here!"
